Dr. King opened his new practice in June of 2019 and continues to accept new patients and referrals. Originally from Brooksville, MS, Dr. King and his wife, Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, Madelyn King, lived in Rochester, NY where he trained in interventional cardiology, However, Mississippi is home, and where they feel most comfortable.

Dr King and Madelyn have two wonderful children, a boy who is ten and an eight year old daughter. The doctor’s hobbies, when not running his busy practice, include fly fishing (tarpon, redfish, trout, bass, bream), in fact, he once caught multiple tarpon on a fly and landed a few near the boat. He also loves shooting skeet, golf, soccer adult league, taking his wife and kids crappie fishing, bird hunting, sports cars, reading, cooking gourmet meals for his wife.

Speaking of his wife, Dr. King says that his fondest memories include first meeting his wife, and passing Gross Anatomy in Medical School. Well known for being polite, direct and knowledgeable, Dr King is a huge fan of both soccer and football.
